What is BytePanda and what does it do?
BytePanda is a Peruvian technology company that builds enterprise-grade software for SMBs across LATAM. We offer SaaS products proven in production (Panda POS, BytePanda ERP, AirsoftOPS, PandaLex), custom software development, IT consulting and cloud infrastructure services.
Where are you based?
Our base of operations is in Lima, Peru. We serve clients across LATAM with flexible hours and Spanish-language support. We work remotely, but we can arrange in-person meetings in Lima when needed.
How much does your software cost?
SaaS products start at S/ 99 per month (Panda POS). BytePanda ERP will start at S/ 299/month. Custom development is quoted per project, with milestone-based payments. IT consulting is available by the hour (from S/ 250/h) or as a monthly retainer.
Can I try the software before paying?
Yes. We publish live demos that are publicly accessible — no forms, no discovery calls, no NDAs. You can go straight from our website and try Panda POS or AirsoftOPS with real data right now.
Do you build custom software or only sell SaaS?
Both. When a SaaS product doesn’t fit your needs, we build custom software on the same modern stack (Next.js, PostgreSQL, built-in AI). Payment per completed milestone, source code handed over to you, no technology lock-in.
How long does a custom project take?
It depends on the scope. Simple MVPs: 4–6 weeks. Mid-sized projects: 2–4 months. Complex platforms: 6+ months. The difference is that at BytePanda we iterate weekly, so you don’t wait months to see progress. Within 72 hours you get a first tangible demo.
What technologies do you use?
A modern, enterprise-grade stack: Next.js, React, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Prisma ORM, Socket.IO for real time, Docker, Kubernetes in production, and AI with Ollama (local) or cloud models where appropriate. For mobile: React Native or native, depending on the case.
Do you work with SUNAT and electronic invoicing?
Yes. BytePanda ERP has native SUNAT integration and supports Peruvian electronic invoicing from day one. We also connect existing systems to SUNAT via API.
What if a demo is down when I try to access it?
If a demo is temporarily offline, we’ll tell you so honestly. Book a call and we’ll show it to you live. We can also give you access to a dedicated environment if you need to evaluate it in depth.
What does a custom project look like?
1) Discovery (1 week): we understand your problem. 2) Proposal with milestones and prices. 3) Design and architecture. 4) Weekly iterative development with demos. 5) Production. 6) Post-launch support. At every milestone you decide whether we continue.
Do you charge for the initial consultation?
No. The first conversation is free. If you need an in-depth technical analysis (systems audit, architecture review), that is quoted separately — but the exploratory conversation to see whether we’re a good fit is always free.
Do you work with clients outside Peru?
Yes. We work with clients in Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile and Ecuador — all of LATAM, native Spanish, flexible hours. For clients outside LATAM (the US, Spain) we also work in English.
Who owns the code in a custom project?
You do. The source code is handed over to you at the end of each milestone and when the project closes. No technology lock-in: if you ever decide to switch providers, you take everything that was built with you.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes, when needed. But we usually suggest starting the conversation without one, because we don’t discuss specific implementation details until we fully understand your problem. If you’re sharing sensitive details, we sign the NDA first.
What if I don’t like the result?
That’s why we work in milestones. Every milestone has verifiable deliverables. If you’re not satisfied at any milestone, you stop the project and pay only for what has been delivered up to that point. No penalties.
Do you have documented success stories?
Our flagship case is PandaBar (Barranco, Lima) — a real bar that has run on Panda POS since launch. AirsoftOPS is used by the Peruvian airsoft community. We keep adding cases as we close projects and get client approval to mention them.
Do you train the client’s team?
Yes, it’s included in custom projects. SaaS products come with remote onboarding. For corporate clients we also offer in-person training in Lima as an add-on service.
What support do you offer after implementation?
For SaaS: ongoing support included in the subscription (a direct line to engineering, not a ticket queue). For custom development: free bug fixes for the first 3 months, then an optional maintenance contract. Infrastructure operations: 24/7 under an SLA contract.
